Greetings everyone, I'll start by saying, I love this game/sim, and i look forward to all the content that has to follow in the Beyond series update, but I think FDev is missing a potential that would raise the steaks of the game , far beyond anything the competition might develop (NMS) being the main contender i think. I love to explore, but there are so many things in exploration that are "missing". The list: Searching for ELW's , what about LIFE! ( We have a great deal of information in this century as to "How" life begins, and, based of future thinking, why can we NOT find life on other worlds.....) even if we only find basic life, it would add a depth the exploring part of the game, and add value to the countless hours we take exploring the galaxy. Navigation: This is a big bug bear for me, we have all this technology at our disposal, we can travel vast distances around our galaxy, yet, we cannot decide anything for ourselves when we reach a target area, for instance, why oh why is "waypoint" navigation NOT a basic of the whole navigation system, surely a module could be purchased for explorers that enables them to point and click say 10 target systems in any given region with colour differences to highlight "visited" systems, maybe even allow for engineered modules to increase the 10 slot system, to allow for 20 pre selected stars at a time. Also, NO "First discovered by" notice unless the whole system has been scanned, with the exception of asteroid belts, I say that because unless Fdev place a value of their discovery, then they should not be included. Scanner Modification This is absolutely PANTS at the moment, i don't know what the Big deal will be in 4th quarter update, it's supposed to be for exploration, my hope is that the whole thing is rehashed to incorporate decent, specialist scanning equipment to give value to the time commanders dedicate to exploring, and i'm not just talking about credits, i'm talking about the infinite possibilities that are out there, and in our own imagination, it could be just AWESOME!
