Im gonna make this quick so yeah. Also, dont get your panties in a bunch when I suggest some ideas that make the game harder. Taxes on Transactions - Now I know what you may be thinking..."uPkEeP!!!!!!" This wouldn't be the case, you simply would have a small deduction or increase to your transaction value. The amount deducted wouldn't be a lot but would scale depending on what class of ship you use. This would help balance out the deletion of the grind. Fleet Carriers That Make Sense - I'm glad you figured out how to reuse some assets but make them feel new (eg. the jump sequence) but, there are ways to make carriers better (Some of which Ill touch on later, these include economic enhancements). Make Fleet Carriers more like regular ships in the sense they can super cruise and move manually. Give us some direct input on how the carrier functions. Make it so that you don't have to buy things in bundles; allow us to purchase what we want and how much we want. Make the different variants actually purchasable with credits and re-design them in a manner that makes them have different features (eg. increased landing pads, thrust, etc.) Make it so that we can see the new modules being added (much like mega-ships because that's all that these things really are). Give us an option to purchase mega-ships, they could have more: more space, more landing pads, enhanced defenses, better jump times, better ranges, larger fuel tanks, etc. Finally, make these ships destructible; Its like having a conda but invincible rn. Allow us to have FCs fuel scoop, stars emit tritium you know? (Odyssey related) Give us the option to walk around the WHOLE ship (regular ships at least) - it would add a whole new feel to the game. I've seen the concept art and I know you guys already know what the interiors of ships look like. Make prices competitive - Make it so that purchasing items to sell (eg. modules and ships) are far cheaper than what are sold on the market because you are buying directly from the manufacturer. This would allow more flexibility and create a sort of business opportunity for FC owners. Stations would also react to FC prices by adjusting prices accordingly. Make Thargoids an actual threat - As it stands, Thargoids are essentially nothing in the ED galaxy as it stands; we should not only have to seek them out but have them interdicting our ships even when we arent carrying anything. Make battles in systems with Thargoids intense and make it so that if a station gets destroyed, it hurts the economy and effects the surrounding systems. Make them far more destructive and allow us to stop them from destroying stations. New SRV's - Give us some SRVs that allow us to do underground mining, some that are essentially tanks, etc. New Ships (Not Reskins) - Give us some more ships to play with along with some new weapons. More cosmetics - Allow us to have more suits and custom helmets for our CMDRs Add (dare i say it) more Grind - The grind is all but non-existent now. If you follow these steps, it should pose a decent challenge to the community. Super weapons - I think this is self explanatory. Essentially boss battles for the entire community to partake in. Allow the Purchase of Capital Ships - It will finally give rank grind a purpose Make it so that your Rank in power-play actually matters - Depending on your rank, you may be a part of a fleet of your chosen faction and sent off to do missions or lead your own fleet of ships onto war. Missions would scale based on Combat Rank and Power Rank. These missions would be hard but pay tons of money. On top of that, you get to have your own Capital Fleet if you are high enough rank and meet some requirements. Make it so that you have to be Elite to purchase the big things (eg. Carriers, Mega-ships, Capital Ships, etc.) - Would make it more worth it to get Elite. Allow us to make our own factions (if big enough) in game - Similar to squadrons, these would function more like minor factions or super powers. You would run systems and even make quite a bit of money for you and your members. Last but not least... This list is NOT finalized, I will take suggestions below.
