Experimenting with Construction Vehicles (Earth movers)

I want my work-in-progress areas to look more like a real construction site. There are a few construction vehicles in the Workshop, but, well you know me and my obsession with unnecessary detail... To make as many vehicles in as many positions as possible, here's the plan: 1) experiment with component parts of vehicles << these videos will be added to the sqmsygames "experiments" series with "Construction vehicles" somewhere in the video title. 2) collect the best experiments into a library of component parts 3) make many different vehicles in many different positions from those components << these videos will get a build video series of their own, later. PHASE ONE: Front End Loader Parts Front End Loader parts: bucket, lift assembly, hydraulics, steering assembly, wheels, base with transmission and cooling system, cab interior, cab exterior, and engine housing. I started with the wheels, here's the heavily shortened build video (you may have seen this already on the forums): https://youtu.be/20gXZVUktHk Then i made the rest of the F E Loader components, still working on the build videos for those, but here's the teaser: https://youtu.be/EE9ueNaLiiM Featuring: * Some wheels. * Bucket and "anatomically correct" lift assembly with two hydraulic systems; one to lift the bucket, and another to tip it. * Cab interior has steering, ignition key, gear shift, pedals, control levers, handbrake, air conditioning, knobs and buttons. And a pirate. Aarr! * Cab exterior has the engine housing on the back. * Main body has a correctly connected steering pivot assembly and the cooling system and transmission housing. It is just a teaser at this stage, I will make videos of each component build, and then a video of the final assembly of the first Front End Loader. Once i have tested assembling all the components for a FE Loader, i'll make that into a blueprint so you can assemble Loaders in various positions to your liking. Or wait, and i'll make a bunch of them in various positions (bucket up, bucket down, dumping, turning) and workshop those for you also. PHASE TWO: Roller/Compactor Parts Re-use parts from above: wheels, base with transmission and cooling system, cab interior, cab exterior, and engine housing.
