dolphin its my favorite exploration ship .. I'm mad?

Don't know if its just me, but after checking the usual DBX, aspx, Phantom and anacondam for one reason or another, none of them convinced me to drop my belowed dolphin. Doesn't have the best jump range, but still quite decent, its a small sized ship ( very agile and lands everywhere ) and with tons of optional modules available and with exacly the sized i deeded. Its just a joy to fly. Every time I look on the aspx and dbx i just can't stand the fact that after putting the guardian booster and fuel scoop, you can't put a dual SRV module ( size 4), the anaconda looks to be the best all rounded, but didn't survived 15 minutes in my hands .... too big, and it felt like a flyng brick.. went back selling it after few minutes. Big sized ship are just too sluggish for me, and even tried to land it in rocky planets.... The phantom intrigues me, its a medium ship ( hence much better thatn the anaconda) on paper looks better compared with the dolphin but not by a great margin. Same optional slots number, 2-3ly better jump range on equivalent engineering level. Good, but not mind-blowing, and still a small ship is easier to land around. My black@yellow dolphin (my setup: ASTROCAB-01 ) have still room for lot of engineerings to do, but already gives me 57ly jump range with all the modules i wanted for my deep space exploration. I already made few long range trips with it, and currenty i'm at 7k LY from bubble and my trip is just started .. i just can't see how other ships could be that much better. I'm missing something? If the dolphin is indeed a good exploration ship, why i never see it mentioned?
