Dear FDEV Downgraded planets and explorer woes.

Many of you have encounted counless issues with odyssey, whether that be preformance, gameplay, graphical, connection issues or other wise. This post isn't to adress the many issues that players are experiencing in odyssey since launch. This post is adressing just one slice of the issues and thats regarding exploration. This post is also not adressing the new gamplay for exploration in odyssey or more accurately the lack thereof. No instead I wanted to make this post adressing the many issues which have completey broken the fundementals of exploration in elite dangerous and the absoulte downgrade of the planetary tech not only from what was shown in pre-alpha footage, but also from horizons. Okay to start off i wanted to talk about some of the fundementals or exploration that have been broken. One is the FSS when scanning a system using the FSS there is a bug that makes the planets extreamly bright and or over saturated at time. This not only effects the FSS but also the planets in the system in particular High metal content worlds or iceworlds that are not landable. There is a ongoing issues rn since odyssey's launch where the planets in the system map are super dark and or missing textures landable planets and gas giants are hit the worse where some gas giants show no texture whatsoever when looking at them in the system map. This issues affect exploration heavily as it hinders us from being able to identify what type of planet or gas giant we are looking at and also keeping us from being able to identify what planets might be interesting to land on. Theses are more gameplay and basic UI issues then visual issues unlike the above two issues mentioned. I and other commanders have encountered a bug that keeps us from being able to plot routes using neutron star boost. Another is when plotting a route using the star class filter, if we change the preamiters of what stars we want our route to use we have to go to the star where our route ends and reset it each time we change the preamiters unlike with horizons where it would update your route automatically. Next up are the planets. Oh boy I know this might upset some people but it must be said and adressed. Im not going to be going into extensive detail about each issue regarding this so ill let the screenshots do the talking. Okay first up is going to the downgrade of the planetary rock scattering. These photos are going to show the downgrade of rock scattering from alpha to release. I also understand that the scattering had to be reduced a little to make driving on planets more smooth but now planets just looks flat. It also seems that the variety of rocks as been decreased as well from the alpha.
