Building a system with 4 ringed giants but only moons landable. I wanted this one to be an Industrial hoping to have a local source of goods for other expansions but so far I'm getting the big middle finger. My IND stations/settlements only produce booze and drugs. Now, for the alt I'm playing that's certainly an amusing and not all-together upsetting outcome but not really what I was going for overall. I built a number of Industrial settlements and one Industrial surface port early on hoping to push the system economy that way. That has worked. My starting outpost is a criminal one so I think it is the influence that is generating drugs and booze. I did add an orbital mining installation as its description seemed to indicate it provides refinery goods. Now this would all only have fully activated I suspect this morning so it might take some BGS time for anything from the orbital to impact things. My next idea to try is drop a few extraction settlements and then maybe a refinery hub. Right now though I think I may sit tight and just complete the agricultural settlement I have in the works and listen for success stories on how to setup things to get real commodities started. In that vien... does anyone have success stories to tell? Do you have an industrial system with stations producing the expected goods? If so please share what you built to get there. I'm sure there are more than 1 of us that would be interested to hear.
