Space, the final proving ground, This is the exploration journal of the Starship Gemini Rising, it's mission, to seek out what ever is out there, record it and make a valiant attempt to get back in one piece. So, do i have a destination in mind... Well when i set of from Shonpono ( very nice high tech station here that seemed to have all the modules that i needed) in my kitted out Diamondback explorer, i was half thinking about heading to the core, but i got 1000Ly's out and decided to take left at an M class star and head up and along the spiral arm, so i seem to be in a drifting sort of mood. As for how long i'm going to drift around, well that sort of depends on how things go, and if the space crazy doesn't take to much hold :eek::eek: So far so good, as i say, i'm some 2/3 KLy's out from Sol, and just taking a direction as the "wind" takes me, i've had no real problems, apart for a section of unscoopable stars about 300 Ly's out from Shonpono. And now, the screen shot section, enjoy... Found this gas giant with a Shepherd moon for the ring. A gas giant with water based life A gas giant with amonnia based life ( love the contrast in colors between the rings and the planet) Found this little lovely, an ice planet with a large ring formation And the final one for tonight, and amazing ringed ice planet More to come as i drift my way around the stars, hopefully i'll find some even more impressive ring systems :cool: Fly safe and true commanders.
