I'm considering fitting some upgraded armour to the AspX I use for nosing around Thargoid related stuff. It's NOT a combat ship but I sometimes find myself getting attacked. Anybody know what sort of armour is best for soaking up Thargoid-inflicted damage? Military Grade Composites? Mirrored? Reactive? Given that Thargoid weapons bypass our shields and inflict hull-damage, I was assuming that the damage they do is kinetic and therefore reactive armour would be the best choice.
